Why Business gifts?
Business gifts, promotional gifts and corporate gifts will cause confusion if you are trying to differentiate between these various headings.
Throw in corporate merchandise, executive gifts and many other terms such as corporate business gifts and it's easy to lose track of what you actually want.
The aim of this site is to explain some of the basic stuff which will help you to source whatever gift, be it business gifts, corporate gifts, promotional items, or giveaways, you are looking for. Probably your first decision is to decide on the level of gift in line with your budget.
Are they unique corporate gifts or maybe corporate promotional gifts?...or perhaps a cheap advertising giveaway? So what’s it all about?
Unique corporate gifts
Sourcing business gifts is a minefield and unless you tread carefully you’re likely to get blown sky high because unique corporate gifts and business promotional gifts travel a particularly tortuous course before landing on customer’s desk.
People selling business gifts and unique corporate gifts usually sell from a business promotional gifts catalogue consisting of roughly 112, 128 or even 140 pages divided into umpteen sections depending on the catalogue.
The catalogue is often split over product groups such as writing instruments (pens and pencils of all kinds), timepieces. conference requirements, sports and leisure and so on ad infinitum.
Any competent promotional gift house will have more than one main catalogue along with other subsidiary catalogues on specific areas.
For instance, there are separate catalogues for corporate clothing, giveaways, writing instruments, clocks and watches etc…and so it goes on and on and on.
Whatever your interest you can rest assured there will be a specialist supplier catalogue whether it be Bic custom promotional pens or Parker promotional pens..
Why business gift sourcing can be confusing
Most business gift catalogues do a pretty fair job at providing an overview of what’s available but if you are interested in a particular product you’ll certainly need some more help.
As explained earlier there are specific catalogues for almost any product group but this can be investigated much more thoroughly by targeting well known manufacturers.
For example if you are attempting to source pens you will be able to get brochures from Cross, Sheaffer, Waterman, Prodir, Senator, Quill and Parker promotional pens,
Alternatively, should you be looking at watches then you’ll be able to get individual brochures from many makers including Breitling, Tag Heur, Seiko. Cassio, Swiss Army, Omega, Tissot and Gucci.
You may be surprised to learn that almost all business gifts, corporate gifts and corporate promotional gifts are sourced from overseas with the majority imported from the Far East.
If you’re still perplexed by this market place just trawl this site for further information. It doesn’t matter what products catch your eye there’ll be something here to help your requirements for corporate gifts, promotional gifts or why business gifts.
