 Fun Giveaways

It’s quite easy to misconstrue the term fun advertising giveaways but in reality it’s a deadly serious game. These fun advertising giveaways are very cheap and extremely cheerful; hence the term fun giveaways.

Fun advertising giveaways are used virtually everyday by the largest companies in the world and there is no reason why your own organization should not join in the fun because fun advertising giveaways are part of the marketing mix.

Elsewhere on the site we have spoken about advertising gifts costing just a few pence items such as pencils, letter openers, mouse mats, rulers, air fresheners, bottle openers, ice scrapers, puzzles and sewing kits…all highly effective cheap advertising giveaways…and fun advertising giveaways fall into this same category of cheap but retaining some quality.

Frisbees are fun advertising giveaways

Additionally, you can look at some inexpensive promotional items that fall into a similar price bracket but have a decidedly fun element. Items such as Frisbees, boomerangs, foam hands, fridge magnets and confectionery products will frequently raise a smile.

Like Hoover, Frisbee has become the generic definition of a certain product that is seen in many business gift catalogues as a frisky disc, sky-surfer, skimmer ring, disc flyer, 3-prong skimmer…and the original, thought to be at least 64,000 years old, the boomerang.

The Frisbee is a brilliant fun advertising giveaway and gas an almost unprecedented advertising space and can be print in full color…and add to this that the Frisbee itself is produced at least 12 different colors and you have a decidedly fun advertising giveaway.

Any sports occasion will almost certainly feature some Foam Hands in a wide variety of sizes and colors indication support for one team or another…it’s an attention-grabbing product and certainly gets the message across.

Confectionery giveaways

A lollipop or a bar of chocolate won’t be the first thing you’ll think of when considering the components of your marketing mix. Nevertheless, there’s a place for that group of advertising giveaways called confectionery. Items like, jelly beans, fruit drops, humbugs, chocolate money, mints, Belgian chocolates and, of course, the one of the very first advertising giveaways…a stick of rock!

Originally a gift from the seaside with the name of the resort running through complete with a picture tucked inside the wrapper.

Who would have thought that a seaside souvenir would be the precursor of a business selling candy to most of the multi-national organizations; but it’s happened. In its simplest form many companies have a jar of mints on the reception desk so that visitors might be refreshed.

There are many other ways to use confectionery as part of the marketing mix.

A favorite is aluminum foil-wrapped chocolate money as part of a direct mail promotion; many alert minds have concocted very successful marketing campaigns using these age-old products.

Another item that punches well above its weight that is the common-or-garden mint or fruit drop; wrapped in an arresting wrapper with an engaging strap line it’s a little beauty at exhibitions and conferences.

And don’t forget lollipops complete with personalized wrappers and often produced in bespoke shapes to resemble a specific company product with company logo engraved into the lollipop.

Fridge magnets are a fun giveaway

In closing you might like to consider an all-purpose gift item sold all over the country…a fridge magnet. Made from many materials with a big advertising area it can be made in custom shapes to suit many trades, industries or professions…an excellent example of a fun advertising giveaway that just sticks around.

Manufactured in lots of different materials with an excellent area for marketing messages the fridge magnet, in some forms, is custom made to various shapes thus adding to its usefulness… an excellent example from the range of fun advertising giveaways.
